BrandWatch Hires VP Business Development

PORTLAND, OR, April 2, 2009 – BrandWatch™ Technologies, an innovative global leader in brand security solutions, has hired Steve Delepine to serve as Vice President of Business Development. Delepine brings to the company more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations and project management.

“Steve comes to us with an impressive skill set,” said BrandWatch CEO Phil Huff. “He has proven ability in strategic planning, client negotiations, acquisitions and mergers as well as a successful track record of managing costs, and increasing profitability by building brand awareness, and positively promoting the company’s image. All of this will serve us well as we reach out to form more alliances with brand security specialists working to stop counterfeiting and intellectual property theft.”

In his new position as VP of Business Development, Delepine will provide confidential consulting and brand authentication solutions to an international client base and lead a team of business analysts.

Delepine formerly served Kennedy Communications as business development executive, a leader in Integrated Brand Management.  He led teams that specialized in helping organizations align their Internal and External brands. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Business Development for American Communications, where he developed and managed Vendor OEM relationships with fortune 500 companies.
